21st NYP-IPS Astronomy Competition 2018

Nanyang Polytechnic Astronomy Club cordially invites all pre-university schools to participate in the 21st NYP-IPS Astronomy Competition 2018. Established in 1998, this is the longest-running Astronomy Competition in Singapore.

The objective of the competition is to engage pre-university students’ interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics).

This year’s competition has three categories: Poster, Restricted, and Open, which are collectively suitable for a large segment of the student population.

SST students particpated actively in this competition by sending 13 students in various categories: 

Open category: Yi Ming, Keith

Restricted category: Evaan, Xu Cheng, Elston

Poster 1: Adam, Ethan, Zachary

Poster 2: Andrien, Madhulika

Poster 3: Clyde, Kenneth, Jayden
