Organised by the Jurong Central grassroots community and the Science Centre Singapore, the Stargazing and Movie Night was conceived in 2022 and implemented on 24 June 2023. During the Movie Night, Movie Screening (Big Hero 6) and Science booths were set up for the young and old alike to enjoy the community event at Jurong West Street 41 Basketball Court.
SST students participated in the planning and execution of the event together with the grassroot leaders and SAYES staff from the Science Centre Singapore.
The activities conducted were fun filled and engaged the public at the early hours of the evening.
However, the skies didn’t supported us and sent showers of blessing when the night falls. Despite that, the SST students were positive enough to complete the programme and cleared up after that.
